They are seeking a Sales Director for the Commercial and Industrial segment to lead business development and sales execution, overseeing a team to drive growth across multiple sectors. Responsibilities β’ Develop and execute a national sales strategy for the C&I segment, targeting industrial, commercial, and data center clients β’ Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers to achieve growth and margin objectives β’ Build and manage strategic relationships with large industrial customers, EPCs, OEMs, and commercial developers β’ Partner with Applications Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to ensure proposal accuracy, technical alignment, and on-time project delivery β’ Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term agreements that optimize profitability and customer satisfaction β’ Identify emerging trends and customer needs within the data center, manufacturing, and industrial infrastructure markets β’ Coordinate with Marketing and Product Development teams to align offerings with market opportunities β’ Track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and present regular updates to executive leadership β’ Represent Virginia Transformer at major industry events, trade shows, and customer forums to enhance brand visibility Skills β’ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) β’ 10+ years of sales and account leadership experience in power systems, electrical equipment, or transformer markets, with at least 5 years leading a regional or national team β’ Demonstrated success managing multimillion-dollar accounts across commercial, data center, and industrial sectors β’ Strong understanding of power distribution systems, switchgear, and transformer design principles β’ Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and customer relationship management skills β’ Proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven sales reporting tools β’ Willingness to travel up to 50% across key customer regions β’ MBA Benefits β’ Competitive base salary + performance incentives. β’ Full benefits package including health, retirement, and travel programs.
