They are hiring multiple Senior Accountant / Accounting Operations Analysts to manage a portfolio of dynamic clients, produce financial reports, and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities β’ Own a portfolio of 10+ dynamic clients, serving as their go-to accounting expert β’ Produce high-quality books, financials, and month-end reporting β’ Build scalable, tech-driven accounting workflows using cutting-edge internal software β’ Advise founders and finance leaders on best practices and process improvements β’ Lead escalations and solve complex challenges with autonomy and judgment β’ Mentor junior team members and strengthen team performance β’ Influence product and automation enhancements with frontline feedback Skills β’ 3-5+ years in accounting, finance, consulting, or client-service roles β’ Polished communicator with strong client presence β’ Thrives in a high-volume, fast-moving environment β’ Tech-savvy across cloud accounting tools and web-based platforms β’ Analytical, curious, proactive, and solutions-oriented β’ CPA or public accounting experience is a plus-not a must Benefits β’ Unlimited PTO β’ Fully paid maternity and paternity leave β’ 100% employer-paid healthcare β’ 401(k) Company Overview β’ Vaco is the Talent Solutions division of Highspring, a leading global professional services organization.
