They are seeking a Trademark Docketing Specialist with deep experience in U.S. and international trademark docketing to support a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical client, focusing on managing complex trademark portfolios and deadlines.
- Responsibilities
- Ability to independently manage complex trademark portfolios and prioritize deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrated experience managing U.S. and international trademark prosecution deadlines and matters
- Experience in coordinating projects, developing process documentation and supporting change management needs
- Proficiency with Outlook, MS Office, and IP docketing software (e.g., Anaqua, CPI, FoundationIP, WebTMS, or comparable systems)
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Professional demeanor with sound judgment and a strong commitment to confidentiality
- Skills
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a Trademark Docketing with exclusive focus on trademarks
- Ability to independently manage complex trademark portfolios and prioritize deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrated experience managing U.S. and international trademark prosecution deadlines and matters
- Experience in coordinating projects, developing process documentation and supporting change management needs
- Proficiency with Outlook, MS Office, and IP docketing software (e.g., Anaqua, CPI, FoundationIP, WebTMS, or comparable systems)
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Professional demeanor with sound judgment and a strong commitment to confidentiality
- B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Interest in practicing within an alternative, fixed-term legal services model supporting sophisticated in-house legal teams
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare trademark portfolios
- Experience in coordinating system upgrades, data quality analysis, and creating dashboards/metrics
- Strong familiarity with trademark docketing best practices and global brand protection workflows
- Experience coordinating and docketing formality and recordation documents, including assignments, renewals, declarations of use, powers of attorney, and changes of name/address
- Working knowledge of U.S. and international trademark rules, including USPTO, WIPO/Madrid Protocol, and foreign trademark offices
- Experience with electronic filing systems, trademark research tools, and global trademark databases
- Ability to support high-volume portfolios with a high degree of accuracy and autonomy
