Job Description
This industry is highly regulated and a little dry.
But the compensation is crazy.
That’s the trade-off. You’ll be helping families with life insurance, which doesn’t exactly scream party time, but you’ll also have the chance to make more than most people think is possible.
- What you’ll actually be doing (no fluff):
- You’ll get warm leads. No cold calling, door-knocking, or bugging your friends.
- You’ll call those leads, set appointments, and walk through a simple 15-minute presentation.
- You’ll ask some questions, figure out what people need, and help them apply for coverage.
- That’s pretty much it.
- Who this works for (and who it doesn’t):
- Works for people with grit, work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- Doesn’t work if you need someone to hold your hand every step of the way.
- Works for self-starters who like flexible hours and working from home.
- Doesn’t work if you’re allergic to picking up the phone.
- The truth about the position:
- It’s commission-only. (If that scares you, stop reading now.)
- You’ll need a computer, a phone, and a decent internet connection.
- Hours are flexible—translation: you can work as much or as little as you want, but your paycheck will reflect it.
- Compensation includes upfront pay, renewals, overrides, and random bonuses—so it can snowball over time.
- Perfect as a side hustle at first, but many transition to full-time when they realize the upside.
We’re hosting an in-person interview event this Wednesday in South Chandler.
