Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Major League Baseball (MLB) is seeking a night social producer for MLB Pipeline, their dedicated coverage of prospects and Minor League Baseball. The role involves promoting content on social media, cutting highlights from games, and identifying key storylines and players to showcase.

Responsibilities

Ideate, produce, and post nightly content for MLB Pipeline and MiLB channels
Follow game action and cut highlights for social
Use social media to promote editorial content
Quick video editing
Work with other producers using the same social media accounts

Skills

Experience managing social media platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit)
Strong editorial instincts with the ability to adapt content across multiple formats and platforms
Basic video editing skills; Photoshop and Premiere Pro experience a plus
Familiarity with social trends and colloquial language
Passion for baseball and knowledge of Statcast and Minor League Baseball a plus
Position will require work at night and on weekends
Ability to identify performances/trends worth highlighting on social media platform
