Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Media Tune, LLC is a pioneering company in digital and video marketing based in Silicon Valley. The Social Media Content Strategist will manage the company's organic social media platforms by creating and scheduling engaging content while ensuring brand compliance and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Create on-brand organic social media content (graphics, short videos, carousels, and captions) for Media Tune
- Repurpose existing assets (videos, blogs, podcasts, client work, internal content) into social-ready posts
- Follow Media Tune’s brand voice, visual guidelines, and messaging frameworks
- Ensure captions are clear, engaging, and aligned with platform best practices
- Build and maintain a weekly or monthly content calendar
- Plan content themes aligned with company goals (education, brand awareness, culture, services)
- Schedule posts across approved platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) using designated tools
- Ensure consistent posting frequency and timing
- Publish organic posts according to the content calendar
- Monitor basic engagement (likes, comments, shares) and flag anything that needs escalation
- Respond to simple comments or messages using pre-approved guidelines (if assigned)
- Maintain a clean, professional brand presence across all platforms
- Work closely with the Communications and Creative teams to align messaging
- Participate in brief weekly check-ins or async updates (Slack, ClickUp, etc.)
- Accept feedback and make timely revisions to content
- Follow documented processes and workflows
- Proofread captions for grammar, clarity, and tone
- Ensure visuals meet platform specs and quality standards
- Double-check links, tags, hashtags, and formatting before posting
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, post frequency)
- Share simple weekly or monthly summaries with insights or trends
- Identify high-performing content styles for future use
Skills
- Experience creating organic social media content for businesses
- Strong written English and visual storytelling skills
- Familiarity with major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Expert graphic/video tools (Canva, Adobe etc.)
- Comfortable working remotely with clear deadlines
- Able to work independently and follow documented systems
