Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Evernorth Health Services is seeking a Software Engineering Advisor to design, build, and scale reusable AI-enabled software solutions. This role involves collaborating with senior engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, production-ready AI applications and services across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs for AI applications
- Contribute to full stack features and service orchestration
- Develop and integrate LLM-based workflows and agents
- Support pilots and proofs of concept through production
- Translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support deployments, triage issues, and automate testing
Skills
- Early to mid‑career software engineering experience
- Strong Python and API development skills
- Hands-on experience with generative AI or AI-enabled systems
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs or graph modeling
- Cloud-native development experience (AWS preferred)
- Experience with containers (Docker or Podman)
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Git and agile development experience
- Experience in AI, innovation, or platform teams
- Exposure to multiple LLM providers or evaluation frameworks
- Observability and monitoring experience
- Contributions to shared libraries or accelerators
- Open-source interest or contributions
