Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide differentiated customer service through anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving customer issues.

  • Focus on the customer by giving a warm and pleasant greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help finding additional items as needed.

  • Accurately perform cashier responsibilities, including managing cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in shipments, updating pricing information, and completing inventory control tasks as directed by the store supervisor.

  • Support store activities, including setting up and closing the store, as needed.

  • Provide customer service to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying up-to-date with all current services and equipment.

  • Assist pharmacy staff as needed, including working occasional shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development.

Requirements:



  • Minimum 16 years of age

  • Physical requirements: ability to stand for sustained periods, lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, and have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection of small objects/details.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service setting

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired but not required
