Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Energy Guard is seeking a Strategic Account Manager β Fleet Development to expand their fleet customer base through direct outreach and relationship building. The role involves prospecting, account management, and collaboration with sales team members to achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new fleet and dealer leads through research, cold calling, email outreach, and industry events
- Conduct introductory presentations and product demos (in person or virtual)
- Follow up on leads from Michelin and partner channels
- Maintain a disciplined cadence of activity (calls, meetings, emails) logged in CRM
- Support other account managers in managing active fleets and dealer relationships
- Coordinate quoting, order entry, and follow-up with internal operations
- Track open opportunities and ensure timely customer responses
- Achieve quarterly sales and activity goals as defined in Energy Guardβs Sales KPI framework
- Build proficiency in Energy Guardβs aerodynamic solutions and communicate product benefits clearly
- Contribute to regional marketing efforts (e.g., trade shows, ride-alongs, product demos)
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and customer success teams to address customer needs and drive operational efficiency
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance overall sales performance and scalability
- Gather and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform product development and strategic planning
- Provide actionable insights to leadership for decision-making and long-term planning
- Ensure all customer interactions, agreements, and transactions are well-documented and align with company policies and regulatory standards
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field
- Internship or 0β2 years in sales, account management, or customer-facing role
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM tools (Odoo preferred)
- Strong organizational and follow-up discipline
- A successful candidate will be action-oriented and energized by making positive connections with others
- Up to 50% travel
