The Talent Acquisition Sourcer is responsible for identifying and engaging top talent to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to meet hiring goals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand hiring needs and develop strategies for engaging passive talent across engineering roles
- Collaborate with recruiters and recruiting leaders to develop overall sourcing strategies
- Build pipelines of qualified candidates from diverse sources, including underrepresented groups in tech
- Research markets, companies, teams, and roles to maintain a consistent candidate pipeline
- Identify, engage, and monitor candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to improve hiring strategies and candidate experience
Skills
- 1–3+ years of sourcing or full desk recruiting experience
- Experience sourcing active and passive candidates primarily via LinkedIn; other platforms like GitHub or StackOverflow are a plus
- Ability to leverage social media and conduct Boolean searches for sourcing
- Experience with sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems
- Experience in full life cycle recruiting
- Skills in researching and market mapping to attract and retain candidates
- Strong prioritization, organization, and multitasking abilities managing pipelines for multiple roles
- Analytical skills to track sourcing metrics, derive insights, and take action
- Curiosity and problem-solving mindset to source for novel roles and develop creative solutions
- Ability to build and maintain long-term pipelines for hard-to-fill technical and engineering roles
- Networking skills to build relationships with passive candidates
- Technical industry knowledge including relevant skills, companies, communities, and university sources
