The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving design-in activities, exceeding revenue targets, and managing relationships with manufacturers and channel partners to enhance MPS's market position. Responsibilities β’ Responsible for driving all design-in activity and wins within assigned customer accounts and geographies β’ Responsible for consistently exceeding assigned revenue targets β’ Indirect management of Manufacturers Representatives and channel partners (distribution branches) supporting MPS products β’ Work closely with MPS product division marketing and engineering personnel to identify market trends and customer specific requirements, leading to MPS leadership position at strategic accounts Skills β’ Strong knowledge of target customers as well as industry trends and competitive landscape β’ Need technical ability to understand entire MPS product portfolio and the 'go to market' strategy for each product line β’ Good people and analytical skills to manage strong sales personnel (including manufacturer representatives and channel partners) to succeed and continuously grow design wins, revenue and customer relationships β’ Must be able to grow management level and design engineering relationships at strategic customers β’ Must have ability to interface with MPS executive staff and product divisions to explain/defend key business strategies, revenue targets and customer situations within assigned territory β’ Good presentation skills to all levels of personnel (both customer and MPS internal divisions/executives.) β’ Self motivated to work as an individual sales contributor in a field or home office β’ This position requires a technical degree (minimum bachelors), in an engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred) Benefits β’ Health care coverage β’ Dental and vision β’ 401(K) with a company match β’ Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) β’ Up to 11 company paid holidays β’ 15-20 days of paid time off depending on your tenure β’ Generous discretionary company bonuses β’ Life and disability protection β’ Sales incentive bonuses β’ Stock compensation Company Overview β’ Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
