Skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Compassion for providing effective psychiatric care. • Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans. • Provide clinical leadership and oversee unit activities. • Prescribe medications (when applicable) and monitor patient progress. • Deliver crisis intervention and respond effectively to urgent situations.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and provide reports to the court. Qualifications • An MD or DO degree from an accredited college or university. • Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program. • One year of clinical psychiatry experience. • A license to practice in the state of employment. • Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry (must obtain certification within six months of hire). • DEA registration. Education Requirements • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
