They are seeking a Ticket Writer who will provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their sports betting inquiries and transactions. Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service to anyone who comes into our sportsbooks Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board Answer all customer questions to the best of your knowledge or seek to find out the answer in a timely manner Try to deescalate customer disputes/complaints and escalate to direct supervisor when needed Communicate and promote our menu of sports betting options to customers Ensure all necessary compliance (Title 31) paperwork/documentation is filled out according to Company policy and gaming control board standards Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Perform other job-related duties as assigned Skills The ability to sit/stand for extended periods at a time Must have basic computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet, etc.) Must be 21 years of age or older Obtain a gaming license Must have 1+ years of cash handling experience High level of customer service Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to do simple math Understanding and a responsibility to adhere to all compliance requirements set for by the company and Nevada Gaming Control Board High School diploma or equivalent Prior work experience in a sports book is highly preferred Ability to motivate, lead, and mentor staff members Self-starter attitude who shows initiative Company Overview Caesars Entertainment, Inc. is the largest casino-entertainment Company in the U.S. It was founded in 1999, and is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
