At tapouts, we're building the leading digital youth mental health platform in America. We're seeking an experienced part-time bookkeeper with financial controller capabilities to manage our financial operations and support our growth.Your Mission
Establish and maintain efficient financial operations while supporting our startup's growth.You will be helping us manage our books, optimize financial processes, and provide strategic insights for our scaling journey.
Key Responsibilities
ΓΒ Financial Operations: Manage weekly bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
ΓΒ Subscription Management: Oversee subscription billing and revenue recognition
ΓΒ Capital Raise Support: Maintain financial documentation for investors
ΓΒ Financial Control: Implement and maintain internal controls and financial processes
ΓΒ Monthly Reporting: Prepare key financial statements and management reports
You're Our Ideal Candidate If You Have
ΓΒ Strong experience with startup financials and high-growth environments
ΓΒ Expert knowledge of subscription-based business models
ΓΒ Track record of supporting capital raises
ΓΒ Ability to work efficiently and autonomously within limited hours
ΓΒ Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Essential Experience
ΓΒ 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in tech startups
ΓΒ Experience with subscription revenue management
ΓΒ Background in financial controlling or similar role
ΓΒ Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks)
ΓΒ Comfortable working remotely and managing time effectively
Time Commitment & Structure
ΓΒ 1 day per week
ΓΒ Flexible scheduling with core deliverables around month-end
ΓΒ Remote work
