About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of North Queen Anne as an RN Health Consultant, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing educational environment.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a health consultant on an as-needed basis.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for children enrolled in the program.
- Develop and implement health policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on health-related issues and best practices.
- Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and promote wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students.
- Coordinate with local health agencies and resources to enhance health programs.
- Participate in training staff on health and safety protocols.
- Monitor and manage medication administration and health emergencies.
- This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that can be done remotely with occasional site visits.
- Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or school health.
- Strong knowledge of child health and development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Passion for promoting the health and well-being of children.
