About the position
- Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for patients.
- Maintain nursing standards of care and respond to changing workloads and patient conditions.
- Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately and efficiently.
- Exhibit thorough practice of infection control procedures.
- Identify and report changes in patients' physical and mental conditions.
- Document all patient encounters according to organizational standards.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health and medical needs.
- Assess and anticipate patient needs, coordinating necessary interventions.
- Requirements
- Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position within a medical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology, and principles of nursing practice.
- Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification required.
- Understanding of confidentiality laws, including HIPAA guidelines.
- Knowledge of medical office equipment and clinical laboratory methods.
- Excellent organizational skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Nice-to-haves
- BSN degree preferred.
- Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.
- Additional certifications may be required as applicable.
