If so, the American Red Cross has an exciting opportunity for you to as a SAF IS Regional Program Specialist Mobile. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and guidance to Red Cross teams in the implementation of mobile technology for disaster response operations in the Asia Pacific region.
We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual with a strong understanding of mobile technology and its application in disaster response. Develop and implement regional strategies for the use of mobile technology in disaster response operations in the Asia Pacific region. Provide technical support and guidance to Red Cross teams in the implementation of mobile technology for disaster response.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate Red Cross teams on the effective use of mobile technology in disaster response. Collaborate with regional and global partners to identify and implement best practices for the use of mobile technology in disaster response. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mobile technology in disaster response operations and make recommendations for improvement. Stay current on emerging mobile technology trends and advancements and make recommendations for their integration into disaster response operations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the use of mobile technology in disaster response. Communicate regularly with Red Cross teams, providing updates, guidance, and support on the use of mobile technology in disaster response. Ensure compliance with all Red Cross policies and procedures related to the use of mobile technology in disaster response. Represent the American Red Cross at regional and global meetings and conferences related to mobile technology and disaster response. Contribute to the development of funding proposals and grant applications for mobile technology projects in the Asia Pacific region.
