Job Description
LexisNexis is a leader in legal, regulatory, and business information and analytics. They are seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to drive new business by leveraging inbound and outbound strategies, identifying decision makers, and nurturing relationships that lead to qualified sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Managing inbound lead qualification
- Managing outbound sales campaigns targeting designated prospect lists through strategic calling, emailing, and online research
- Leveraging inbound marketing efforts to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Building relationships
- Assisting in identifying, building, and nurturing relationships with key decision makers to establish a network of prospective clients
- Working closely with sales teams to schedule and secure qualified appointments
Skills
- Have prior experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or inside sales is preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional and clear telephone manner
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and LinkedIn
- Be highly competitive, self-motivated, adaptable and organized with effective time management skills
- Be able to utilize company systems and tools to manage customer data
- Be able to follow defined processes meticulously while maintaining a detail-oriented mindset
