Job Description

Cohesity is a leader in AI-powered data security and management. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving awareness and the adoption of Cohesity’s solutions by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of a strong sales pipeline.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to build and refine outbound prospecting lists
  • Identify key decision-makers within target accounts
  • Create and execute multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess prospective needs and introduce Cohesity solutions
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc
  • Qualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives to progress opportunities
  • Work closely with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities
  • Develop deep knowledge of Cohesity’s platform to confidently communicate our value proposition

Skills

  • Fluent in both Spanish & Portuguese
  • Enthusiasm for sales, with ideally 1+ year of relevant experience
  • Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools
  • Experience with researching companies, cold calling, emailing, and navigating organizational hierarchies
  • Confident in making cold calls and handling objections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Receptive to coaching and continuous feedback
  • High level of grit and perseverance in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset
  • Collaborative, team-first attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making
  • Self-motivated with a focus on learning and career development
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • College or bachelor's degree
