<p><strong>SAP ABAP Developer (RAP & Fiori) – Contract Opportunity - U.S. Citizens ONLY </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote (United States)</p><p><strong>Contract Type:</strong> Long-term contract (initial term with strong likelihood of extension up to 4 years)</p><p><strong>Client:</strong> Fortune 250 Enterprise</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are supporting a Fortune 250 organisation on a large-scale SAP transformation programme and are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and Fiori/UI5 expertise.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a long-term contract opportunity offering the chance to work on cutting-edge S/4HANA development within a highly visible, enterprise-wide programme. The role is fully remote within the United States.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions in an S/4HANA environment</li><li>Build and enhance applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)</li><li>Develop and extend SAP Fiori applications (including Fiori Elements and SAPUI5)</li><li>Create and consume OData services to support UI and system integrations</li><li>Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions</li><li>Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities</li><li>Contribute to best practices around modern SAP development (clean core, extensibility, etc.)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)</li><li>Hands-on experience with RAP / RESTful ABAP Programming Model</li><li>Proven track record developing SAP Fiori applications (SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements)</li><li>Experience with OData services (V2/V4)</li><li>Solid understanding of S/4HANA architecture and development principles</li><li>Experience working in agile or large-scale transformation programmes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Exposure to BTP (Business Technology Platform)</li><li>Experience with CDS Views and annotations</li><li>Background working within regulated or complex industries (e.g., aerospace, defence, manufacturing)</li><li>Familiarity with Clean Core / extensibility frameworks</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Apply?</strong></p><ul><li>Long-term contract with strong visibility and stability (multi-year programme)</li><li>Opportunity to work with a Fortune 250 organisation on a major S/4HANA initiative</li><li>Exposure to modern SAP technologies (RAP, Fiori, BTP)</li><li>Fully remote working within the US</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Next Steps</strong></p><p>If you’re an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with RAP and Fiori expertise looking for a long-term contract engagement, we’d be keen to discuss further.</p>
