Job Title: Senior Principal – SAP ABAP & HANA Architect
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal – SAP ABAP & HANA Architect with deep expertise in SAP ABAP on HANA technologies. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of advanced SAP solutions using Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). This role requires strong technical leadership, architectural expertise, and the ability to drive innovation across enterprise SAP environments.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of SAP HANA ABAP solutions using modern ABAP on HANA technologies.
- Develop advanced data models and services using Core Data Services (CDS), AMDP, and RAP frameworks.
- Utilize and implement GPPDB, GPDB, GPODB, and GPCDB frameworks to enhance application performance and integration.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical architects to gather and analyze complex business requirements.
- Architect high-performance, scalable, and maintainable SAP applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP ABAP applications with SAP HANA and other SAP modules.
- Drive innovation by adopting latest ABAP on HANA best practices and modern development frameworks.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture guidelines, and deployment standards.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 17+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA technologies including CDS, AMDP, and RAP.
- Hands-on experience implementing GPPDB, GPDB, GPODB, and GPCDB frameworks.
- Deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience integrating SAP ABAP applications with SAP modules and enterprise systems.
- Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring technical development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
