SAP Data & Analytics Consultant.
Main Sail LLC is seeking a Data & Analytics Consultant to support reporting and embedded analytics within S/4HANA.
The Data & Analytics Consultant supports the end-to-end execution, development, and maintenance of high-performance data solutions. The Consultant executes complex ETL/migration strategies and leverages SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Embedded Analytics to transform raw data into actionable insights that support federal budgeting, planning, and operational excellence.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implement SAC Solutions: Execute the design and delivery of advanced analytics, planning, and predictive stories within SAP Analytics Cloud to support executive-level business decisions.
- Model Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Build and maintain data models utilizing SAC tools (Stories, Analytics Designer, and Predictive Scenarios) to visualize vendor, client, and financial data.
- Collaborate with Functional Squads: Work directly with workstream analysts (O2C, P2P, B2R) to translate business requirements into intuitive dashboards and real-time reporting solutions.
- Support Planning & Budgeting: Configure SAC planning models and ensure their technical integration with S/4HANA Finance to drive improved fiscal operations.
- Project Delivery & Operational Support:
- Execute Workstream Tasks: Support work planning and task tracking for the Data and Analytics workstream, ensuring technical deliverables are met within project sprint timelines.
- Adhere to Delivery Methodology: Follow Accenture delivery standards for data migration and analytics from the Explore phase through Go-Live.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation of data mappings, transformation rules, and security profiles to ensure audit compliance.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Core Experience: Professional experience in SAP Data & Analytics, with a functional understanding of S/4HANA Data Models, SAC, and SAP BW/4HANA.
- Migration Expertise: Hands-on experience executing large-scale data migrations or BI transformations within an SAP environment.
- Functional Literacy: Solid understanding of data flows within SAP core modules, specifically Budget to Report (B2R) or Procure to Pay (P2P).
- Tooling Proficiency: Technical knowledge of ETL and Data Quality software (e.g., SAP Data Services, Information Steward, or Syniti/ADM).
- Collaborative Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical data concepts for functional stakeholders and leadership.
Federal-Specific Requirements:
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with Federal Data Standards and reporting requirements (e.g., DATA Act compliance).
Location: Remote.
Period of Performance: Anticipated start in April 2026 with 1 year base PoP. Expectation of multiple option years for client to exercise.
