- Have a general familiarity with SAP capabilities in translating design information into costs, materials ordering, and accounting-familiarity with PowerPlan would be a plus.
- Have an understanding of how individual Bill Of Material components (materials and labor, plus overheads) can be aggregated for estimating purposes into Compatible Units and assemblies is important
- Understanding of the design to construction process is essential
- Knowing that process in a utility context, either gas or electric, will be very helpful
- Be familiar with the sourcing/procurement process for non-standard or long lead time material
- Lastly, and probably most important, have good general IT BA experience/skills
- BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Business, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related experience or equivalent
- Experience in Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodology
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Proven experience with business IT applications
- Ability to lead and influence decision-making working with senior management at client
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience with MS Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of SQL
