SAP Principal Consultant Core Team (Finance Domain)

The Role:

Madiba is searching for a full-time SAP Principal Consultant to join our Core Team. The ideal candidate will come from a tenured consultative background to lead full scale SAP implementations, Migrations, enhancements, and upgrades. The ideal person will have competency in both functional and technical finance domains along with strong analytics experience. This person will be part of the leadership team in capturing new business and projects. The SAP Principal consultant will be part of the succession planning strategy with potential opportunity for a partnership track.

Lead all phases of SAP implementations and projects from beginning to end
Ability to prepare, present, and lead Executive Steering Committee-level meetings
Lead and champion client success across multiple workstreams
Collaborate with the leadership team to present Madiba solutions and develop customer relationships
Function as a key functional and technical architect for large-scale SAP projects
Participate in RFI, RFP and SOWs to obtain new business and projects
Lead meetings to gather requirements, perform analysis, write functional specifications, design and configure system and interface solutions
Guide project scope, budget, timeline, testing, and critical deployment issues
Engage, lead, and mentor team members on project and day-to-day issues
Work with Project Managers to understand the pipeline and the scope of future projects
Build standard methodologies, approaches, and Madiba solution offerings
Prepare marketing materials for packaged solutions and accelerators
Assembling system demos and solution offerings
Understand future work, industry, and market trends, and translate them to skill needs
Managing the bench and Project Forecasting (Gross Margin)
Coordinating with delivery teams in India, Canada, and the UK

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems
7-10+ years within a professional SAP consultative environment
Management consulting experience in both the finance functional and technical domains
Hands-on experience in all phases of SAP implementation projects spanning preparation, blueprinting, realization, testing, deployment, and support
Experience within a highly regarded management consultancy in project delivery and sales capacity (Big 6 or similar type firms)
Proven experience in capturing new clients and projects within the SAP domain
A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams
Comfortable selling to, influencing, and building relationships with senior executives
Several full-cycle SAP projects in SAP FICO and S/4HANA deployment/enhancements
Certification in SAP FI/CO and other modules is desirable
Exposure to the SAP Public Cloud is ideal, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
