Job Description
A position is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services within a school setting, located in Homestead, FL. This contract role offers the opportunity to support student mental health and learning needs remotely, utilizing evidence-based psychological practices tailored to school environments.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments through telehealth platforms.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed reports to guide individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning.
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience delivering psychological services through telehealth.
- Proficiency with digital assessment tools and virtual communication platforms.
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavior management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and meet deadlines.
