Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed school psychologist to provide telehealth services in a K-12 school setting. This position supports students across multiple schools and focuses on delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and consultation to enhance student well-being and academic success.
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Duration: Current school year (CSY) through June 12, 2026
Setting: K-12 school environment, serving three schools
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments consistent with K-12 educational needs
- Provide telehealth psychological services, including counseling and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and external providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Utilize Mi-Star system experience to document and track student progress and assessment data
- Support crisis intervention and student mental health initiatives as needed
- Desired Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist license
- Experience delivering school psychology services via telehealth
- Familiarity with K-12 school environments and procedures
- Knowledge of Mi-Star educational platform considered an asset
- Strong communication and consultation skills to work effectively with educators and families
