EY is a professional services firm dedicated to the financial services marketplace. As an FSO Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and support technology solutions that enhance business processes and customer interactions.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
  • Document system requirements via process/workflow diagrams based upon analysis of system capabilities
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure that business requirements are translated into technical specifications
  • Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Identify high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints, then implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project
  • Communicate any development roadblocks to leadership and facilitate resolution
  • Effectively use the tools required for implementing business systems analysis and provide thought leadership for the growth of the toolset and functionality to aid in technology delivery

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Financial services industry experience preferred
  • Experience in large-scale project delivery, including discovery, design, and release
  • Broad knowledge of the IT function and how IT enables business through effective and strategic target state solutioning
  • Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes, such as systems development life cycles, product management, PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, and/or CMMI
  • Comfortable working in an Agile and cross-functional environment
  • Experience working in the financial services or professional services industry
  • Experience working with executive IT or business leadership
  • Demonstrated communication and facilitation skillsets, including presenting to stakeholders from multiple areas within the organization (e.g., Operations, Legal and Compliance, Engineering, Architecture, etc)
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, SAFe) are a plus
