About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced tax reviewer to support our firm during tax season on a seasonal, contract basis. This fully remote role is well-suited for an independent professional who can manage assigned work autonomously while collaborating with our team as needed.
- Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review individual and business tax returns
- Work extensively in CCH Axcess Tax
- Communicate with clients to gather required information and documentation
- Input data from financial records to accounting software
- Manage workflows and client communications through TaxDome
- Utilize Juno tools as applicable
- Facilitate direct contact with the client to review the tax return and also discuss tax planning strategies for next year
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
- Meet agreed-upon deadlines in a fast-paced tax season environment
- Collaborate with firm personnel as needed to complete assigned engagements
- Participate in periodic check-ins to review project status and timelines
- Complete additional project-based tasks as mutually agreed
- Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional tax preparation experience
- Extensive experience with CCH Axcess Tax (required)
- Experience with TaxDome
- Experience with Juno preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Compensation
$55 - $70 per hour- commensurate with experience and complexity of work
(1099 independent contractor position)

Requirement:
Contractor must supply their own computer, Microsoft software, and secure high-speed internet access.
