Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong tax and accounting expertise to join our growing firm. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working directly with clients, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality financial and tax services.

The Senior

Accountant will support both compliance and advisory functions while collaborating with staff and firm leadership.

Prepare and review individual and business income tax returns
Compile and organize financial data for accurate and timely tax filings
Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting closes
Prepare and review adjusting journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Review financial statements prepared by staff accountants and bookkeepers
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and regulations
Communicate regularly with clients to address questions, provide insights, and maintain strong relationships
Support internal process improvements and workflow efficiencies

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
4+ years of tax and accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in QuickBooks, tax preparation software, and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
