About the position
- Responsibilities
- Research and determine the likelihood of financial risk to the organization.
- Develop and design actuarial documentation for financial reports and tax returns.
- Conduct product line evaluations and interpret financial analyses.
- Utilize actuarial research to implement development standards and assumptions.
- Assess and analyze financial risks and opportunities using advanced actuarial methods.
- Collaborate with business partners to translate mathematical constructs into actionable recommendations.
- Develop and design advanced actuarial models and validate results.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field.
- Minimum six (6) years of actuarial experience.
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate.
- Nice-to-haves
- One (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Five (5) years experience with databases and spreadsheets.
