About the position The Senior Analyst - Account Services at Verizon is responsible for managing key State and Local Government client projects, ensuring successful outcomes on large-scale network implementations. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, crafting detailed project plans, and maintaining communication with customers and management to drive service excellence and meet project objectives. Responsibilities β’ Serve as the primary project management contact for key State and Local Government clients. β’ Support high visibility strategic project and service implementation. β’ Forge cross-functional partnerships to facilitate project completion. β’ Craft detailed project plans and present business updates. β’ Provide ongoing status and action reporting to stakeholders. β’ Identify global resource requirements and coordinate team efforts. β’ Plan and anticipate issues, adjusting strategies to meet objectives. β’ Develop, review, and continuously improve project processes. β’ Drive project timelines and keep team members on track. β’ Scope and develop project plans for complex projects, including resource, time, and budget estimates. β’ Provide support to resolve complex issues and problems. β’ Govern intermediate projects or programs to ensure customer satisfaction. β’ Coordinate the transition of programs from development to implementation. β’ Implement recommendations for successful project completion. Requirements β’ Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. β’ Three or more years of relevant work experience in project management. β’ Experience managing complex projects with multiple work streams and stakeholders. β’ Demonstrated vendor management experience. β’ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. β’ Experience dealing with key customers at both frontline and management levels. β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.). β’ Ability to motivate and influence teams to achieve outcomes. β’ Demonstrated flexibility in handling various situations. Nice-to-haves β’ A degree in project management or related field. β’ Experience working with Federal customers at various levels. β’ Strong familiarity with Verizon tools, processes, and products. β’ PMP Certification. β’ Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
