Position Summary Subject Matter Expert in HEDIS improvement work; supports abstraction teams during Supplemental and Hybrid Seasons and interacts with regional teams and other stakeholders to facilitate actions that improve healthcare outcomes such as increased preventive care compliance. Takes a leadership role in the development and implementation of quality management projects and activities. Partners cross-functionally to develop and enhance tools supporting HEDIS abstraction. Communicate with stakeholders on key HEDIS activities and outcomes. Develops, documents, and trains colleagues on abstraction processes. Assists manager with tracking and reporting of key metrics. Supports training, education, and mentoring of colleagues and temporary staff. Delivers clear, accurate information to internal and external constituents via written and verbal communication. Actively identifies and implements process improvements to create efficient and effective work streams. Builds and supports complex relationships with internal and external constituents and consults on solutions to business needs. Conducts claims research to identify and close HEDIS gaps in care. Required Qualifications -Minimum of 5 years medical record abstraction -Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Electronic Medical Records systems - Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications (Microsoft Office Applications and QuickBase) - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications -Experience working with Supplemental Record Tracking, HEDIS HUB, Record Abstraction Tracking Suite - Training experience Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $91,800.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
