As an integral member of our data team, the Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports. Working with cross-functional teams, you will participate to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using your skills and experience as a BI Report Developer, you will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s) / data mart(s).

Responsibilities:

· Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements.

· Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.

· Participate with other specialist to convert legacy reports.

· Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team.

· Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users.

· Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence.

· Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.

· Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports.

· Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.

    · Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.
  • Monitor and develop ETL jobs to maintain enterprise data warehouse.

Required Qualifications:

· Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information systems technology.

· 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards, including:

o Working with users in a requirements analysis role.

o Extensive experience with data warehouse implementations.

    o Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
  • Ensure data security that involves implementing appropriate access controls and data protection measures.

· Proficiency in the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI.

· Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, AWS DMS preferred.

· Familiarity with other tools like Informatica, Quicksight or Tableau.

· Scripting and programming knowledge (especially My-SQL server).

    · Experience writing complex SQL queries.
  • One or more of the following desired technical skills:
  • RDBMS such as MySQL and SQL Server
  • AWS databases such as RedShift or Aurora
    · Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required.
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
    · Ability to deliver high quality code in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Self-motivated and deadline focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.

Certifications Required:

· BI certifications are desirable, preferably related to Power BI or Tableau.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $86,616.24 - $110,000.00 per year
