Our client, a leading innovator in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a highly motivated and strategically-minded Senior Brand Manager to join their dynamic global innovation team. This is a fully remote, critical role where you will spearhead the development and launch of groundbreaking new products, shaping the future of our brands and delighting consumers worldwide. As the Senior Brand Manager, you will be instrumental in identifying emerging market trends, understanding unmet consumer needs, and translating these insights into compelling product concepts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain, to bring these innovations from ideation through to commercialization. Your responsibilities will encompass market research, competitive analysis, consumer insights generation, strategic planning, P&L management, and the execution of integrated marketing plans. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of brand strategy, product development processes, and the FMCG landscape. You should have a proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving significant business growth. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential for navigating a complex, global environment and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You must be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, working autonomously in a remote setting, and thriving in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive innovation strategies aligned with overall brand objectives. Lead the ideation, concept development, and validation of new products. Conduct thorough market and consumer research to identify opportunities and inform product design. Collaborate with R&D to define product specifications and ensure alignment with consumer needs. Develop business cases and financial projections for new product initiatives. Work with marketing and sales teams to create go-to-market strategies and launch plans. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely product launches. Monitor post-launch performance and identify areas for optimization. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive brand management or product marketing experience in the FMCG industry. Demonstrated success in launching new products and driving profitable growth. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent understanding of consumer insights, market research methodologies, and marketing principles. Proven ability to manage projects, cross-functional teams, and external agencies. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience working in a remote-first environment is a plus.
