About the Role
As a Senior Counsel, Privacy, you will:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive privacy framework that ensures compliance with domestic and international privacy laws and best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy into the design of new products, features, and business initiatives.
- Provide expert advice to product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to mitigate legal risks and advance business goals.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure that data protection provisions are incorporated into vendor, partner, and merchant agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date internal and external privacy policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A J.D. degree and admission to any state bar.
- 8+ years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, with a focus on privacy and data protection issues.
- Familiarity with global privacy frameworks and advising on privacy issues.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- A proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer
