Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Information Security team. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cybersecurity controls, as well as providing expert guidance and support to our cross-functional teams. This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and collaborate with our team members across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls to protect our systems and data from current and emerging threats

Collaborate with staff engineers on significant projects and initiatives

Provide training and guidance to junior architects on endpoint and DLP strategies

Develop and lead pilots of new features before full implementation

Provide direction to engineers on escalating incidents to the SOC/Business area

Conduct research and analysis to identify new threats and vulnerabilities

Develop and implement automation workflows and scripts to support information collection, analysis, and incident response

Identify and propose new technologies, techniques, or approaches to detecting malicious activity

Essential Qualifications

3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on information security and data loss prevention

Experience with enterprise-level DLP tools, such as Forcepoint, McAfee, or Symantec

Scripting experience, with proficiency in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Perl

Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies

Strong understanding of regular expressions (RegEx) and programming concepts

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and delivery

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with OCR/EDM technologies and tools

Knowledge of Spanish or French, or other languages, is a plus

Experience with cloud-based security solutions and technologies

Certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+

Strong understanding of ITIL and other industry-standard frameworks and methodologies
