Position: Senior Data & AI Architect (Databricks) Location: Remote - (With need to travel to client place for workshops) Duration: Long Term Contract
Role Summary:
We are seeking a senior architect with strong Databricks expertise to design scalable data platforms and drive AI/ML initiatives. The ideal candidate must be hands-on with architecture, governance, and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Databricks/Lakehouse architectures.
Lead Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) implementations.
Define data governance using Unity Catalog (RBAC, lineage, metadata).
Architect end-to-end data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
Build data models/semantic layers for BI.
Drive AI/ML solutions and production deployment.
Engage with stakeholders and lead technical discussions.
Required Skills:
Strong Databricks architecture experience.
Hands-on Medallion Architecture implementation.
Experience with Unity Catalog governance.
Solid understanding of modern data platforms and data engineering.
Exposure to AI/ML implementation.
Excellent client-facing communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Cloud: Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform.
Tools: Spark, Python, SQL, BI tools.
Experience with MLOps.
