Why This Role Matters The Data Specialist – Data Analytics is the linchpin of Flexnity’s analytics ecosystem. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver data to business intelligence (BI), advanced analytics, and machine‑learning services. Your work will directly influence product strategy, inventory optimization, pricing dynamics, and customer experience across the entire organization. Key Responsibilities Create and operationalize data pipelines to make data readily available for BI, advanced analytics, and downstream services. Partner with data modelers, data/BI architects, and product owners to design robust, scalable data flows. Develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Cloud (IICS) and PowerCenter. Leverage Azure services—including Azure SQL Data Warehouse (Synapse), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Databricks —to accelerate data product delivery. Implement large‑scale relational and NoSQL solutions, delivering flexible data‑handling platforms that enable high‑value experiences for the business. Identify, design, and execute process automation opportunities: automate manual workflows, improve data delivery latency, and enhance data reliability. Continuously evaluate and improve data reliability, performance, and quality, ensuring the “single source of truth” remains trustworthy. Communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences, both written and verbally, fostering cross‑functional understanding. Conduct peer reviews of fellow data architects’ work to maintain high standards of engineering excellence. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of hands‑on experience designing and operating data pipelines with large, complex data sets. 2+ years of practical experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS . 2+ years of experience working with cloud technologies such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Event Hub, and other big‑data platforms. 2+ years of experience in data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in data integration patterns including event/message‑driven integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub) and batch ETL. Strong understanding of database storage concepts: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, NoSQL, Graph, and relational models. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Haves Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate). Experience delivering data solutions through advanced programming techniques (Python, Scala, Java). Exposure to the retail industry and a genuine interest in how data drives consumer experiences. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for business stakeholders. Familiarity with SAP integration tools and Enterprise Scheduler (e.g., UC4/Automic).
