As a Senior Data Scientist at Microsoft, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the data center delivery cycle and underlying data to inform management and stakeholders' data-driven decisions and continuous process improvements
- Applying statistical techniques, causal inference, and machine learning to inform data center business decisions and optimize our processes and systems
- Advocating for our stakeholders and providing insights to internal teams (e.g., Planning) attempting to improve the business process and data reporting
- Creating and implementing innovative solutions to increase the quality of data products and support interactions
- Partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build and deliver world-class support and data insights experiences
- Gathering comprehensive and accurate client-facing research on a timely basis
- Guiding business leaders with confidence in your analysis and reporting to ensure execution
- Summarizing and clearly communicating data analysis assumptions and results
- Collaborating with stakeholders to take an ambiguous problem statement, refine the scope of the analysis, and use the results to drive decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to meet Microsoft, client, and/or government security screening requirements
- Programming skills in data manipulation and processing (preferred)
- Knowledge of Power BI, including the ability to design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (preferred)
