Job description: Senior Backend Developer β Hybrid (Miami, Dallas, Atlanta)OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join the technology team of a leading beverage distributor in the United States. The ideal candidate will lead the development and enhancement of in-house software applications, integrations, and mobile solutions using modern technologies. This role involves working in Agile teams, mentoring peers, participating in architecture discussions, and ensuring high-quality code delivery across the full development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Agile teams and contribute to sprint planning and development cycles.
- Develop and enhance applications using React Native, Node.js, Express, and AWS.
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
- Recommend and apply best practices in coding, testing, and architecture.
- Drive business and technical documentation and training material development.
- Design and implement mobile solutions and integrations with enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain software and interfaces.
- Mentor and coach junior developers and support knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and improve software code quality and development standards.
- Coordinate the work of other developers and interact with third-party development teams.
- Report on coding progress and escalate blockers when needed.
- Participate in internal demos, stakeholder meetings, and support solution presentations.
- Ensure code and process documentation is maintained to support production-readiness.
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, backend-for-frontend patterns, web development, or native mobile development.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
- Experience working with or directing third-party developers.
- Proven ability to evaluate and improve coding standards and quality.
- Command of business functions supported by enterprise applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Ability to think from a product perspective and contribute to product design and strategy.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
