Senior Full Stack Transportation Data Entry and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation network, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods, and driving continuous improvement in our logistics and supply chain management processes. This is a senior leadership role that requires a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize transportation operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs Manage and oversee the daily operations of the transportation network, including data entry, dispatch, and logistics coordination Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop recommendations for improvement Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement Lead and manage a team of transportation professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field At least 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role Proven track record of success in managing transportation operations, improving efficiency, and reducing costs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals Proficiency in transportation management systems, logistics software, and data analysis tools Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who have: A Master's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Experience in managing transportation operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies Proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
