About the position The Senior Health Actuary - Commercial position is a remote role focused on supporting the Commercial Pricing and Reserving initiatives for a leading insurance carrier on the West Coast. This role is designed for experienced actuaries looking to make a significant impact on the organization's success by managing a small, high-performing team and advancing their expertise in the Commercial or ACA space. Responsibilities • Develop and deliver pricing, forecasting, and reserving reports and insights. • Stay current with evolving healthcare and actuarial trends and assess their impact on pricing and valuation processes. • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional leaders, including teams in Product, Finance, and Operations. Requirements • 7+ years of healthcare actuarial analytics experience, specializing in Commercial or ACA products. • ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries required.
