Role Title: Lead Investment Research Analyst
Role Type: Contractor (6-month contract PIU Based Compensation - No Salary)

Fact Finders Pro is dedicated to combating misinformation and restoring trust in the digital age. We are developing a fact-checking application powered by generative AI to help users verify information across diverse domains.
Our app development team integrates Large Language Models (LLMs) into the application to deliver business logic, refine outputs, and create a seamless user experience. Developers will leverage vibe-coding tools to optimize code creation and application management.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research to identify and evaluate potential investors, focusing on those aligned with our industry and business model.
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and business models to provide insights for investor communications and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather relevant information and coordinate investor communications effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and materials for investor meetings and other investor-related events.
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to anticipate investor interests and concerns.
- Manage time-sensitive projects and competing priorities while meeting deadlines consistently.
- Act as a liaison between management and the investment community, translating financial concepts and business analysis into clear and concise communication.
- Continuously learn about our industry, products, competitors, and key audiences to enhance investor relations strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in investor relations at a public software/internet company.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex financial concepts in business analysis situations.
- Demonstrated understanding of technology and business models in the context of investment analysis.
- Proven organizational skills with a history of balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of managing time-sensitive projects effectively.
- Self-starter attitude with high attention to detail and ability to work with ambiguity.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to work cross-functionally to gather relevant information for investor communications.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Consistent track record of success and progression in previous roles.
Additional Information: This role is structured as a contract engagement and includes participation in the company’s Profits Interest Unit (PIU) program. PIUs provide contributors the opportunity to share in the future growth and success of the company as key milestones are achieved. Units vest based on the successful completion of agreed project deliverables and represent participation in future profit and value appreciation above a defined threshold. Please note that this is an independent contractor role and does not include employee benefits.
