Job Description: • Create accurate and comprehensive medical documentation during or after patient encounters. • Join phone calls with the Nurse Practitioner and patients to document symptoms, concerns, medical history updates, and treatment notes. • Pre-fill or prepare notes by reviewing previous medical history, diagnoses, and relevant information to streamline the consultation. • Upload, organize, and maintain patient documentation securely in OneDrive. • If experienced, assist in navigating PointClickCare for documentation, chart updates, or patient lookup. • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records and sensitive health information. Requirements: • Senior-Level Experience as a Medical Scribe, Healthcare VA, Nurse VA, or similar role • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation • HIPAA Certified (Preferred; highly prioritized) • Previous experience supporting a Nurse Practitioner or medical professional • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in documentation • Ability to work part-time during mid to late afternoon PST • Tech-savvy with experience in: OneDrive (required) • PointClickCare (preferred but not required) • Ability to handle fast-paced workloads (20–30 patients/day) • High integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
