Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager / Product Owner to take over delivery and product oversight for an in-progress mobile app build as we prepare for launch.
Our app scans supplements and provides AI-driven safety ratings and insights, helping users understand what they’re taking and potential risks.
Development is already underway, core Phase 1 features are mostly built, and internal testing has begun. We are targeting an end-of-April launch and need a strong operator to guide the product through final development, testing, and release readiness.
This is a contract role (10–20 hrs/week) with potential for extension.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Take ownership of product delivery in collaboration with our external development agency
- Manage priorities, backlog, and sprint alignment for Phase 1 launch
- Review user flows and UX in Figma and test builds (iOS)
- Ensure features meet product requirements and are ready for release
- Oversee QA/UAT coordination and bug prioritization
- Identify risks early and propose practical solutions
- Provide clear, concise status updates and decision guidance to leadership
- Help ensure the product delivers a strong, intuitive user experience at launch
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience launching at least one mobile app (iOS preferred)
- Experience managing external development agencies or vendor-led builds
- Strong product judgment (UX, prioritization, tradeoffs)
- Comfortable working with design files (Figma) and test builds
- Ability to step into an in-progress project quickly
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in startup or fast-moving environments

DETAILS
- Commitment: 10–20 hours per week
- Fully remote
- Must overlap partially with North American (EST) hours
- Immediate start preferred
- Contract through Phase 1 launch (end of April), extension possible
BUDGET
Starting range: $30–$50/hour, negotiable for highly qualified candidates.
