Who Can Do This Role:
A senior full-stack developer with strong experience in .NET Core (v6 or v8), C#, SQL Server, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building enterprise-grade applications, handling production deployments, troubleshooting live systems, and collaborating in Agile environments. Experience with financial services or mortgage domain is a plus. We are looking for a freelance developer who can connect Monday to Friday through Zoom or a similar platform and work via screen sharing on a daily basis. As a part-time developer, you will collaborate directly with a candidate who is new to their role, guiding them step by step and helping them successfully complete their daily tasks and deliverables during these interactive Zoom sessions.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior .NET Core Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex business applications using modern Microsoft technologies and AWS cloud services. The role involves building full-stack solutions using C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, SSIS, and modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Responsibilities include preparing applications for production deployment, providing post-implementation support, troubleshooting live system issues, documenting solutions, and ensuring high-quality code through testing and best practices. The candidate will collaborate in Agile teams, manage small projects independently, and leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve development efficiency. Strong understanding of design patterns, refactoring, and unit testing is required.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience in .NET Core (6/8) & C#
Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway)
Strong SQL Server & SSIS experience
Full-stack development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/XP)
Knowledge of Design Patterns & Unit Testing
