Title: SENIOR Off-Road Community Manager (Paid Trial to -$1k/mo Retainer) Description: PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT looking for a generic social media poster. We need a true community builder who understands the off-road, 4x4, and overlanding lifestyle. We are a premium off-road automotive accessories brand specializing in high-ticket Camper Shells and Roof Racks. We are looking for a passionate, native-English speaking Community Manager to help us build a highly engaged, loyal "tribe" of overlanders around our brand from scratch. Budget & Commitment: Long-Term Role: $1,000 per month (Flat Retainer). We anticipate this requiring about 4-5 hours of focused work per week (e.g., writing 3-4 deep posts, daily 15-min moderation, and outreach). The Paid Trial: Before starting the retainer, we will begin with a $250 fixed-price trial project (or capped hourly equivalent) where you will create our initial "Community Launch Playbook." Key Responsibilities (For the Long-Term Role): Community Management: Run our primary community hub (e.g., a Facebook Group) and keep it active, helpful, and free of spam. Content Creation: Write high-quality, engaging prompts ("Rig of the Week", "Trail Tips") using authentic off-road terminology. UGC & Outreach: Reach out to nano-influencers and everyday customers on Instagram/forums to recruit our first 100+ members and secure UGC permissions. Brand Voice: Answer basic product questions (we will train you on our specs) and maintain a rugged, authentic brand tone. Requirements: Deep knowledge of the off-road, automotive, or overlanding niche. You must know the difference between a hard-shell RTT and a soft-shell, what a diff-locker is, and speak the community's lingo. Proven experience in growing and managing online communities (Facebook Groups, Discord, or subreddits). Location: US, Canada, or Australia preferred (for cultural alignment with the overlanding scene).
