Role: Senior Power BI Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Summary:
The Microsoft Power BI Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Power BI solutions for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization concepts. They will also have experience with Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft data analytics tools.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and secure Power BI solutions that meet the organization's business needs.
- Create and maintain data models that are optimized for performance and usability.
- Develop and implement Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to gather requirements and define solutions.
- Train and support users on Power BI tools and techniques.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Power BI features and functionality.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization concepts.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
- Experience with other Microsoft data analytics tools, such as SQL Server, Azure Data Lake Analytics, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Data Analytics.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Data Analytics.
- Experience with Tableau and/or QlikSense reporting environments.
- Experience with data governance and data quality practices.
- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.
