- Improve Univar’s position within each account using consultative and in-depth selling at all levels
- Prospect for new business by conducting sales calls to actively grow the size of the territory
- Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction
- Provide customer technical support and consultant services
- Maintain a clear updated view of your sales pipeline
- Set pricing and service levels
- Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels
- Demonstrate commitment to safety
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience in the Beauty & Personal Care (raw chemicals) industry
- Sales experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or chemical industry sales is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (Technical Science, Chemistry preferred but not required)
- Ability to nurture an extensive network of contacts
- Demonstrated competitive drive
- Strong business savvy
- Well-honed listening skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Effective negotiation skills
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory
