Remote (California Applicants Only) Well-established San Jose/Bay Area CPA firm seeking a tax leader to join our succession plan. We're a growing firm with 50+ employees serving diverse clients from startups to privately held businesses generating up to $500M in annual revenue. We work across construction, manufacturing, non-profit, technology, and emerging startupsâkeeping your work intellectually stimulating and varied.
This is a high-impact role with a clear path to Partner in less than 2 years. We're thinking long-term and seeking someone who could step into the Managing Partner role as part of our succession planning. What You'll Do: ⢠Lead complex tax engagements across diverse industries and client types ⢠Manage and grow your own book of business from day one ⢠Provide sophisticated tax planning and advisory services to clients generating up to $500M in revenue ⢠Mentor and develop tax professionals across the firm ⢠Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives ⢠Build the firm's future as part of succession planning What You'll Bring: ⢠8-10+ years of public accounting experience with increasing responsibility ⢠Active CPA license required ⢠Strong technical skills in entity and individual taxation ⢠Proven experience managing client relationships and book of business ⢠Background in construction, manufacturing, or technology/startups is a plus ⢠Desire to step into a long-term leadership role with equity opportunity Why
